About

Life is what you make it, but it's extremely hard to make it when you don't have the right tools to start. We all have dreams, but to implement them is another story.

I consider myself lucky... lucky to have got this far and know what I know and have been through. I used to envy people, people like Royalty, the Beatles, football players, actors, etc., but as I've gone through life, I've often buried the people I've envied. So, slowly, but surely, I realise my own self-worth as a human being; grateful for what I have in life. If you're happy with what you have in life, you will always have more; if you're not happy with what you've got, you will never have enough.

I've learned the hard way, drinking and gambling to excess. Some people learn to cop-on early in life; but me, I seem to struggle to grasp it. The fool sees wealth in the distance, the wise man grows it under his feet.

Like we say, "life is what you make it, I suppose"; but it isn't always the case for a lot of people. Not too long ago, it wasn't always possible to travel to find work. If your father was a miner or a farmer, you were expected to do the same. I never wanted to be a Welder, it just didn't suit me, but because I was living near a shipyard growing up, I was compelled to work there. Having said that, it's been good to me. When I look back, I only started to like it 10 years ago, when I realised, I wasn't going to make it as a pop star, or a Hollywood actor, or marry into Royalty. But now, I think to myself - perhaps I am Royalty! Nobody is better than me and I am no better than anybody else.
